April 9, 2006 – Some fun stuff…

Everyone deserves a break from the rigid structure of college life.  If you take an hour or two to play a game, you not only have fun, but you relax and strengthen your mind.  Why does that matter?  A more relaxed mind can study better.  If you can study better, then your grades will increase which will then allow you to get even larger scholarships next semester.  Isn’t that crazy?  You probably never thought that playing video games would help you get ahead on campus!

You can get free video games at RealArcade.  They provided me this link to get two free games and a 30 day trial of the rest of their games: Get 2 FREE games with a 30 Day Free trial to GamePass

While not necessarily a “game,” you can have a lot of fun at myYearbook.com making new friends.  Sure, it might look a bit like a typical blog site, but it actually grows with you.  High school kids can share homework and thoughts with each other while college students can move on to more serious discussions about their campuses.  Those that have graduated will find a professional section for help in networking and advancing your career.  The longer you are a member, the larger your network will be, so you should join as soon as possible.  Plus, it is just plain good fun. This is the funny link they provided me with:
