Pay Less for Stuff I just found a new site that can help you save on your college visitation costs. They have awesome video tours of the campus of your choice. I cut and pasted in their little link below: Last month’s tip was on paying less for the foreign language requirement. Taking 2 years of a foreign language in college is pretty much the standard. This can make students that have no practical use for that language angry because they have to pay for it. The solution is to study the language on your own and then take a CLEP test at your school. Learning the language on your own is a lot faster than sitting through classes for 2 years. Plus, you only need to take one test (the one for the highest class level you want to complete) and then you are completely done. Considering how much a credit hour costs nowadays, you could save thousands of dollars by going this route. These companies are experts in their field for helping students achieve college level proficiencies in foreign languages: FREE Brainbench Language Certifications.
